Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Building & Construction Position Title: WSH Officer cum ECO (Tuas Project) Working Location: Tuas Working Hours: 5.5 Days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) Salary Package: Basic Salary Duration: 1 year contract Key Responsibilities Act as the Workplace Safety and Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer for assigned industrial building construction project sites. Ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, client, and project safety and environmental requirements. Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and site safety practices. Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. Identify unsafe work conditions and recommend corrective actions. Ensure workers, subcontractors, and site personnel follow safety procedures and site rules. Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety-related training when required. Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental issues, and prepare reports. Maintain proper records for inspections, permits, risk assessments, incident reports, and compliance matters. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and authorities on safety and environmental matters. NEA-certified Environmental Control Officer qualification. At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Experience in industrial building construction projects is a must. Familiar with Singapore workplace safety regulations, environmental control requirements, and site compliance standards. Able to work independently and manage site safety and environmental matters.
