Freelance / Part-Time Assistant Physiotherapist

Employment Type: Freelance / Part-Time, session-based Work Schedule: Mainly weekday evenings; typically, up to 3 sessions per week, with sessions of up to 3 hours Salary: S$25 to S$30 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience) We are seeking a capable and dependable Assistant Physiotherapist to support the delivery of session-based rehabilitation and sports recovery services for student athletes in Singapore. Working under the direction of a qualified Physiotherapist, the successful candidate will assist with prescribed exercises, treatment support and athlete recovery activities during scheduled evening sessions. Key Responsibilities Conduct prescribed exercises and support treatment plans as directed by the Physiotherapist. Assist with therapy-related duties, including the application of hot packs and supervision of prescribed exercises. Provide massage and other appropriate recovery support under the instruction of the Physiotherapist. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, equipment and basic therapy materials before and after sessions. Observe student athletes during exercises and promptly report concerns or changes to the supervising Physiotherapist. Support safe, orderly and professional service delivery during each scheduled session. Requirements At least a Diploma in Sports Science, Physiotherapy or a related discipline; Sports Trainer Level 1; or an equivalent relevant qualification. At least 1 year of relevant experience as an Assistant Physiotherapist, Sports Trainer or in an equivalent rehabilitation support role. Candidates with prior experience supporting athletes, sports teams, rehabilitation programmes or exercise-based recovery are at advantage. Valid Standard First Aid (SFA) and AED certification. Able to provide documentary proof of qualifications, certifications and relevant experience when requested. Work Arrangement Sessions are mainly scheduled on weekday evenings and may vary according to training and competition requirements. The role is engaged on a session-by-session basis and does not guarantee a fixed number of working hours each week or month.
