Responsibilities Develop and support design concepts, space planning, and mood boards tailored to client needs Produce detailed technical drawings, material boards, and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent Engage with clients to gather requirements and present compelling design proposals Collaborate effectively with contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution Conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in project meetings to monitor progress and quality Research and apply current design trends, finishes, and sustainable practices to projects Adapt responsibilities based on experience, from assisting in design research to independently leading projects Preferred competencies and qualifications Demonstrate strong passion for interior design with creativity and meticulous attention to detail Exhibit effective communication skills to foster collaboration within teams and with clients Show eagerness to learn new skills (for entry-level) or confidence in managing projects (for experienced) Possess familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite; training provided for new learners
