Safety Officer

Safety Officer Job Description & Requirements reporting to the project manager, plan and advise management on accident prevention, safety work methods, legal requirements affecting safety and health deploy workplace safety and health (WSH) programmes advise on work plan/ risk assessment/safe work procedures ensure that all safety compliance and processes adhered to by all workers able to communicate to all levels and attend to daily site meeting coordinate implementation of corrective and preventive actions ensure and conduct periodic toolbox meetings establish quality safety management policies and procedures ensure personal protection equipment is applied with site at all time responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials on site Good working knowledge ISO14000, OH&S 45001 conduct emergency fire drills Requirements: - specialist diploma in workplace safety and health/ Advance certificate in WSH, confined space safety assessor - at least 2 years of working experience in building or civil construction industry - a team player who is hands on and meticulous in his work - able to start work immediately or within a short notice
