Job Title : storekeeper REPORT TO : PROCUMENT MANAGER JOBSKILLS REQUIRED : FORKLIFT SKILLS (WITH CERTIFICATE) GOOD COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS TEAM WORK DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THEFOLLOWING: RESPONSIBLEFOR/AUTHORISED TO: RESPONSIBLE FOR INVENTORY PLANNING, CONTROL OF OPTIMUM STOCK LEVELS BASED ON FABRICATION SCHEDULES. · ENSURE PROPER IDENTIFICATION, RECEIPT, PROTECTION, STORAGE, ISSUES AND DISPATCH OFMATERIALS ACCORDING TO MATERIAL CONTROL PROCEDURES · RECEIVE,PERFORM PHYSICAL CHECK AND HANDLING OF MATERIAL DELIVERED. · IDENTIFY,RESERVES AND ISSUES CONSUMABLES REQUESTED BY PROJECT OR PRODUCTION. · MAINTAIN CONSUMABLE ISSUANCE RECORDS, UPDATE INVENTORY RECORDS AND MONITOR LOW INVENTORYLEVELS FOR RE-ORDERING. · OPERATE AND MAINTAIN THE FORKLIFT. · ISSUES AND REPLENISHES ELECTRODES IN THE STORAGE OVEN DAILY. · MONITOR AND REQUEST FOR INDUSTRIAL GASES AS AND WHEN REQUIRED. · ENSURE PROPER HOUSEKEEPING IN THE STORE AND OPEN YARD STORAGE AREA · ENSURE PROPER HOUSEKEEPING OF STORE AND STORAGE AREA · ANY ADHOC PROJECTS ASSIGNED BY MATERIAL CONTROLLER.
