About this role

About the company Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that! We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building. Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment. Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies. About the role We are seeking a high-energy Inside Sales Representative to join a fast-growing fintech sales team. This role focuses on managing and converting qualified inbound leads into active customers for a financial solutions platform offering corporate cards, spend management, AP automation, and global payment solutions. You will act as the first point of contact for prospective customers and guide them through discovery, onboarding, and activation. What will you be doing? Respond promptly to inbound leads and manage new account acquisition and conversion. Handle inquiries from web forms, marketing campaigns, webinars, events, and referrals. Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer business models, workflows, transaction volumes, entity structures, and financial operations. Diagnose customer pain points related to spend control, vendor payments, reconciliation, cash-flow visibility, and multi-entity complexity. Clearly articulate product value propositions and recommend suitable platform modules (cards, AP automation, FX, global payments). Provide product walkthroughs and coordinate or conduct demos when required. Advise prospects on onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and accounting system integrations (e.g., Xero). Proactively identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Ensure inbound SLAs, follow-up cadences, and CRM hygiene standards are consistently met. Prioritize high-value opportunities and manage a high volume of inbound leads without compromising quality. Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion insights. Share structured feedback with Product, Risk, and Onboarding teams based on customer objections and recurring themes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 1–3 years of experience in inbound sales, SDR/BDR, Account Advisor, or Account Executive roles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong discovery and consultative selling capabilities. Working knowledge of financial operations including vendor payments, spend workflows, approval matrices, ledgers, and reconciliation. Comfortable working with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), demo tools, and presentation software. Data-driven mindset with ownership of KPIs such as conversion rate, response time, and pipeline management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong attention to detail and compliance awareness. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fintech, SaaS, B2B payments, expense management, AP automation, banking, or related industries. Customer-first, solutions-oriented mindset with high resilience. Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally. Interest in building a long-term career path in fintech (Account Executive, Partnerships, Product Specialist, or Revenue Operations). Why Join Us: Work with a cutting-edge fintech platform transforming how businesses manage cash, spend, and global payments. High-impact role in a fast-growing environment. Competitive compensation, commission structure, and career development path (Account Executive, Partnerships, Product Specialist, or Revenue Operations).
