The Role Astor International School is seeking an experienced and passionate Student Support Teacher. The successful candidate will be an internationally qualified educator with experience in inquiry-based teaching (IPC/IB) and a strong commitment to student-centered learning. About Astor International School Founded in August 2019, Astor International School provides quality, affordable education to international students. We offer a focused and creative learning environment that fosters student understanding in Mathematics, English, Humanities, and Science while integrating Art, Music, Dance, and Drama as essential tools for exploration and learning. Our structured schedule allows students to finish at 1:00 PM, enabling them to engage in enrichment activities beyond the school day. Key Responsibilities Specific duties and responsibilities: ● Working with primary age children either push in support or with small groups or 1 to 1. ● Working with students with specific areas of need. ● Supporting the classroom teacher in planning for students with specific areas of need. ● Communicate with classroom teacher’s student information that is necessary to monitor student progress. ● Supporting classroom teachers with lesson preparation and any support they need to fill full their teaching.
