Interior Designer

Job Responsibilities Good visualization, graphic and presentation skills. Develop and create attractive designs and layouts for various projects. Technical and product research & review with the design team. Meeting with the client, consultants, and contractors and making sure that the design intent is met. Discuss and propose design adhering to clients’ requirements and needs. Preparation of detailed drawings, design development, construction documents and project oversight. Prepare 2D/3D perspectives or sketches, design concept sketches, space planning, design development, elevation and detailed drawings for all phases of the process. Job Requirements You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is detailed oriented, possess strong skills in design concepts, perspective and project management good presentation skills; able to work in a team and independently, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure. Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience. Skill proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Vector software (Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator), Photoshop, Sketchup or MS Office. Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization; familiar with furniture/fabrics/lighting elements, construction materials, details methods & standards. Experience in commercial and residential design work projects will be an advantage. Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively. Local working experience needed.
