Site Superintendent

Job Duties Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and scheduling manpower, equipment, and construction activities. Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and delivered on time while meeting quality standards. Supervise site personnel and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and safety requirements. Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to identify and fulfill project requirements. Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization, and provide regular progress updates to the Construction Manager. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve site operational issues, technical challenges, and emergency situations. Oversee foundation, deep excavation, and geotechnical construction activities, including Hydrofraise operations where applicable. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil, infrastructure, geotechnical, underground, or foundation construction projects. Proven experience in managing complex foundation and retaining structure works, including Diaphragm Walls, Hydrofraise construction, CFA Piles, Bored Piles, and deep excavation works. Strong knowledge of Hydrofraise techniques, heavy excavator operations, and other specialized equipment used in foundation and geotechnical projects. Good understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and site coordination requirements. Proven ability to lead site teams, supervise multiple subcontractors, and manage site operations effectively. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
