Java Backend Developer

Our Global Products Solution (GPS) Technology department aims to strategically develop, strengthen and align the software engineering expertise and implement state of the art platforms covering Execution, Sales and Trading. As a highly motivated and experienced Java developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our financial platforms and applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Agile Program Planning and Execution · Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning processes within GPS · Proactively participate in all Agile ceremonies, e.g stand-ups and sprint planning. Design and Development · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services. · Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Optimize server-side performance and ensure data integrity and security. · Work on integrating various financial systems and third-party services, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability. · Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). · Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack, providing support for both development and production environments. Change Management · Support change management and release rollout planning. · Provide dedicated post implementation support locally in Asia.
