GENERAL DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented UX Designer who plays a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our digital channels, including online banking, mobile banking apps, and other financial services platforms. The goal is to create intuitive, secure, and user-friendly experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive business growth. KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES • Conduct User Research: Plan and conduct research studies to understand customer behavior, preferences, and pain points when interacting with our digital banking channels. • Develop User Personas: Create detailed user personas based on research findings to inform design decisions and ensure our solutions meet customer needs. • Design Intuitive Interfaces: Craft user-centered design solutions for online banking, mobile banking apps, and other digital channels, ensuring seamless navigation, easy access to features, and clear information presentation. • Simplify Complex Financial Concepts: Develop creative ways to explain complex financial concepts, such as investment options, loan applications, and account management, making them easily understandable for customers. • Ensure Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure our digital channels meet regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, PSD2, and AML/KYC, while maintaining a user-friendly experience. • Optimize Digital Channels for Conversion: Design experiences that encourage customers to adopt digital channels, increase engagement, and drive conversions, such as applying for loans or credit cards, investing in financial products, or using payment services. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions align with business objectives, customer needs, and technical feasibility. • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in UX design for banking and financial services. • Contribute to Design Systems and Standards: Help develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards for our digital channels, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all touchpoints. • Communicate Design Decisions: Effectively communicate design rationale, trade-offs, and recommendations to stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and executives, to ensure buy-in and successful implementation. • Iterative approach: Refine your designs through iterative design cycles that include testing and evaluation Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulation SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Professional and Technical • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. • 2- 3+ years of experience in UX design. • UX design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design, with a focus on banking and financial services. • Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision. • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles, user research methods, and usability testing techniques. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
