Job Opportunity: 1 Year Contract (Yearly Renewable) Based in Singapore About the Role We are partnering with a leading organisation to hire an experienced UX Researcher who is passionate about understanding user behaviours, uncovering customer needs, and translating insights into impactful digital experiences. As part of the team, you will lead end-to-end research initiatives that shape product strategy, influence design decisions, and improve the overall user experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to solve complex user problems and drive evidence-based decision-making. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute end-to-end UX research initiatives across the entire product lifecycle from discovery and concept validation through to design iteration and post-launch evaluation. Apply a range of qualitative research methodologies to uncover user behaviours, needs, motivations, and pain points, including: In-depth user interviews Contextual inquiries and field studies Focus groups and co-creation workshops Diary studies Moderated and unmoderated usability testing Concept and prototype validation Heuristic evaluations Card sorting and tree testing where appropriate Research Analysis & Insights Analyse qualitative and quantitative research findings to identify user behaviours, pain points, motivations, and opportunities. Synthesize complex research data into actionable insights that influence product strategy and design direction. Develop research reports, presentations, and executive summaries tailored for different stakeholder groups. Communicate findings effectively through storytelling, visualisation, and evidence-backed recommendations. Product & Design Collaboration Partner closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and Business stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. Advocate for user-centred design principles across cross-functional teams. Translate research findings into product improvements, feature enhancements, and experience optimisations. Support product discovery activities by validating hypotheses and identifying new opportunities. UX Deliverables Produce and maintain research and design artefacts such as: Establish and improve UX research processes, standards, and best practices. Stay updated with emerging UX research methodologies, industry trends, and digital product innovations. Contribute to building a strong research culture by sharing knowledge across teams. Requirements Minimum 6 years of professional experience in UX Research, User Research, Human-Centred Design, or related disciplines. Strong experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. Proven experience translating research findings into actionable product and design recommendations. Excellent understanding of user-centred design methodologies and design thinking principles. Experience planning and facilitating usability testing sessions. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Comfortable working in Agile or Scrum environments alongside Product, Design, and Engineering teams. Research Methodologies Hands-on experience with multiple research techniques including: User Interviews Contextual Inquiry Surveys Focus Groups Card Sorting Tree Testing Usability Testing Heuristic Evaluation A/B Testing Journey Mapping Behavioural Analytics Customer Feedback Analysis UX Tools Experience with one or more of the following: Figma Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop) Miro FigJam Maze UserTesting Dovetail Optimal Workshop Qualtrics Google Analytics Hotjar Mixpanel Amplitude Preferred Qualifications Experience applying advanced quantitative research methods and statistical analysis. Experience working on large-scale digital transformation or enterprise platforms. Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) standards and inclusive design principles. Experience collaborating with distributed or regional product teams. Background in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Design, or a related discipline. Experience presenting research findings to senior leadership and influencing product roadmaps.
