Senior Mechanical / Electrical (M&E) Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works for building service including: Schematic, conceptual and detailed design of M&E systems. Preparation of tender drawings, specifications and cost estimates. Preparation of technical reports, tender evaluations and project documentation. Attend project meetings, site meetings and site inspections. Liaise and coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities on project matters. Review of shop drawings, material submissions and technical submissions. Contract administration and project coordination. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and statutory requirements. Testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems. Lead and oversee the design and coordination of M&E projects from inception to completion. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Manage project schedules, deliverables and client expectations to ensure successful project delivery. Any other duties assigned in relation to project execution and delivery. Requirements: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in M&E building services consultancy. Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or candidates working towards professional accreditation will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of engineering design and building services systems. Familiarity with local codes of practice and authority requirements will be an added advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit software will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently, self-motivated and resourceful. Strong leadership, project management and client management skills. A proactive team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
