Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare tender documents, administer contracts, and ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents to support project bidding and budgeting Evaluate quotations and negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize project costs Prepare and assess subcontract agreements and contracts to ensure compliance and clarity Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations to maintain financial control throughout project lifecycle Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts to facilitate accurate financial reporting Conduct site measurements and valuation of completed work to verify project progress and payments Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractors to support timely project execution Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures to mitigate risks Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to coordinate project activities and resolve issues Maintain accurate project documentation and cost records to support audit and reporting requirements Required competencies and certifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Minimum 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in the construction industry Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and cost control methods Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quantity surveying software to perform cost analysis and documentation Strong analytical skills to evaluate costs and negotiate effectively with stakeholders Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse project teams and clients Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple project tasks efficiently Available immediately Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in commercial Additions & Alterations (A&A) and Fit-out Works tender projects Familiarity with Singapore construction standards and contract administration practices
