Logistics Operations Assistant

We seek qualified personnel to join our team and contribute to our operational excellence. Job Summary Coordinate and manage delivery schedules, liaise with customers and internal teams, and ensure smooth logistics operations to support production and customer order fulfillment in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate deliveries for trailers and self-collection arrangements Liaise with customers on delivery schedules and related matters Follow up with drivers and customers to promptly resolve unloading issues and minimize delays Collaborate with production teams and planners to prioritize and support urgent customer orders Arrange collection and delivery of coupler bars efficiently Coordinate deliveries from the galvanising yard to customers to ensure timely receipt Monitor availability of empty trailers and coordinate their allocation for production use Preferred competencies and qualifications Work experience in a manufacturing environment to understand operational workflows Prior experience in logistics, operations, or delivery coordination to enhance delivery efficiency Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email and Excel Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with customers, drivers, and internal teams Ability to manage multiple tasks responsibly and stay organized under pressure Team player with good interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and smooth operations Other Information Work schedule: 5.5 days per week (44 hours per week)
