About this role

About the Role Our client is seeking a Process Control Panel Operator to support grease manufacturing and utility plant operations. The successful candidate will operate and monitor process control systems while coordinating field activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Key Responsibilities Min experience of 3-5 years Operating and monitor Process Control Systems (PCS) to support manufacturing and utility operations. Execute production activities in accordance with production schedules, operating procedures, and quality standards. Monitor process parameters and respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions. Coordinate contractor activities related to manufacturing, filling operations, and material handling. Perform SAP (GSAP) transactions, including production order and inventory management. Conduct product sampling, testing, and quality inspections. Operate and monitor plant utilities, including:Boilers Steam systems Air compressors Thermal oil systems Hot water systems Cooling water systems Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of pumps, valves, piping, filters, and instrumentation. Support Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), and plant safety activities. Maintain production documentation, operational records, and shift handovers. Participate in incident investigations, emergency response drills, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements ITE Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines. Valid Singapore Steam Attendant Class 2 Certificate (Mandatory). Experience in chemical, lubricant, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or oil and gas industries. Experience operating PCS, DCS, SCADA, or similar process control systems. Knowledge of boilers, steam systems, utilities, and plant operations. Familiarity with SAP or GSAP systems is advantageous. Understanding of PTW, LOTO, gas testing, and safe work practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
