Qualified Person (Supervision And Geotechnical)

Job Responsibilities: Supervision and Compliance: Oversee and supervise all civil engineering, marine, and reclamation works related to the project. Ensure compliance with design specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards. Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality and safety of construction activities. Project Leadership: Act as the Qualified Person (Supervision) for the project as required. Provide expert guidance on technical and regulatory matters. Address and resolve issues related to civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering during construction. Design and Risk Management: Review and approve construction methodologies and geotechnical design proposals. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures for project-related challenges. Support the preparation and review of engineering reports and technical documentation. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with project objectives. Participate in progress meetings and provide updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions. Requirements for QP (Supervision): Hold a valid practicing certificate in Civil Engineering issued by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore. Minimum of 8 years of experience supervising civil engineering and reclamation works of a similar nature and complexity. At least 4 years of experience as a Professional Engineer involved in projects similar to the Civil Contract.
