About this role

Key Responsibilities Reception Serve as the first point of contact for members of the public, providing accurate and professional guidance on eligibility, procedures, and application steps. Facilitate collection of documents, search results, and certificates related to marriage and revocation of divorce. Support solemnisation ceremonies by verifying attendance and completion of application and appointment requirements ahead of each ceremony. Counter Services Provide comprehensive counter assistance, reviewing submitted documents for accuracy and completeness. Prepare couples for their appointment with the Kadi, ensuring they understand the process and requirements. Process applications Manage post-appointment follow-ups and liaise with relevant officers on complex or escalated cases. Administrative Support Review and follow up on documentation to ensure timely completion ahead of appointments, including coordination with Kadi/Naib Kadi. Track and follow up on outstanding applications to support timely Kadi verification and certificate processing. Assign cases to Kadis via the system and prepare facilities and documents for solemnisation, including Saturday services. Handle correspondence (calls/emails), respond to public queries, and manage escalations professionally. Support records management, including historical marriage record searches, Certificate of Marriage extracts, and digitisation (document prep, scanning verification, eRegistry upload, archiving). Contract: 3 months (extendable up to 1 year) Working Hours: Mon to Thurs – 8am to 5.30pm Fri – 8am to 5pm Location: Esplanade Mall Salary: $2760 -$4230/Month EA License No.: 96C4864 Reg.
