Lead Aveva Application Engineer

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Setup and Configure projects, databases, class libraries, naming rules, and standards to meet corporate and project requirements Administer and maintain AVEVA Unified Engineering (1D & 2D, NGP&ID, Electrical & Instrumentation, Spectrum) environments Develop and implement automated workflows within AVEVA UE to enhance data consistency and reduce manual entry errors across disciplines Manage users, roles, access rights, and licenses Manage access to AVEVA UE access to external parties such as JV partners, EPC contractors and suppliers Oversee application setup, customization, and integration with enterprise systems (Unified Engineering, IFS, completion systems) Manage engineering data consistency between 1D (engineering data-centric) and 2D (diagram/drawing-centric) environments Define and enforce project standards, workflows, and governance for AVEVA applications Conduct training sessions for the technical personnel when required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a recognized university 5 to 10 years of relevant experience Competence in AVEVA and similar smart engineering tools is mandatory Hands-on experience with AVEVA Unified Engineering is essential Design and engineering experience in oil & gas and FPSO projects will be an added advantage Skills: Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work with multi-discipline teams and external parties collaboratively Strong documentation and training capability
