Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Performance Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets. Set sales objectives and KPIs for dealerships or sales teams. Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and implement corrective actions where needed. Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and business reviews. Dealer Network Management Manage relationships with existing dealerships and distributors. Identify opportunities to expand the dealer network within the assigned region. Evaluate dealer performance against agreed targets and standards. Support dealer profitability through sales planning and operational improvements. Business Development Identify new business opportunities and key accounts. Develop strategic partnerships with fleet customers, government agencies, and corporate clients. Conduct market research to understand competitor activities and customer needs. Recommend pricing, promotional campaigns, and product positioning strategies. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and motivate regional sales teams. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training. Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Resolve escalated customer issues in collaboration with after-sales and customer service teams. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Marketing & Product Support Collaborate with marketing teams on regional campaigns and product launches. Coordinate participation in trade shows, roadshows, and promotional events. Gather customer feedback to support product improvements. Reporting & Analysis Analyse sales data, inventory levels, and market intelligence. Provide management with insights on regional performance and growth opportunities. Ensure accurate sales forecasting and inventory planning. Compliance & Operations Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws. Monitor dealership adherence to BYD brand standards. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimise vehicle availability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. 5–10+ years of automotive sales experience, including regional or dealer management. Strong understanding of the EV market and automotive industry. Experience managing dealer networks and achieving sales targets. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
