Academy Manager Elite Football Academy | Singapore (Central Location) About Us We are a high-performance football academy in Singapore with a clear vision: to become one of the country's leading player development environments. We are seeking an exceptional Academy Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the academy. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is equally comfortable managing parents, supporting coaches, organising competitions, growing player numbers and ensuring the academy operates professionally every day. The Role Reporting directly to the owners and board, the Academy Manager will be responsible for the overall operation, administration and growth of the academy, ensuring an outstanding experience for players, parents and staff while driving sustainable commercial growth. This is a leadership role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong communication, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for youth football. Key Responsibilities Academy Operations Manage the day-to-day operation of the academy. Coordinate all training sessions, fixtures, tournaments and events. Ensure pitches, equipment and facilities are prepared and maintained. Develop and continually improve academy operating procedures. Oversee academy scheduling and logistics. Parent & Player Management Act as the primary point of contact for parents. Build positive relationships with academy families. Handle enquiries, concerns and feedback professionally. Manage player registrations, attendance and progression. Support player welfare and retention. League & Competition Management Register teams into leagues and tournaments. Liaise with football associations and competition organisers. Coordinate match schedules and team administration. Ensure compliance with league regulations. Manage player eligibility and registrations. Recruitment & Talent Identification Lead player recruitment initiatives. Organise and manage academy trials. Identify talented players for elite development pathways. Build relationships with schools, clubs and community partners. Assist with scholarship and representative opportunities where appropriate. Coach & Staff Coordination Coordinate coaching schedules. Support and mentor coaching staff. Ensure coaching standards remain aligned with academy philosophy. Assist with coach recruitment and onboarding. Marketing & Growth Execute local marketing initiatives to grow academy enrolments. Manage social media content and academy communications. Coordinate photography, video and promotional campaigns. Maintain and update the academy website. Assist with branding, sponsorship and partnership opportunities. Organise academy open days and community engagement activities. Administration Manage academy databases and CRM systems. Prepare weekly reports and operational updates. Coordinate invoicing, registrations and payments. Maintain player records and documentation. Ensure compliance with safeguarding and operational policies. Customer Experience Deliver exceptional service to every player and family. Maintain high presentation standards across the academy. Foster a positive, professional and inclusive academy culture. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the academy experience. About You We're looking for someone who is energetic, proactive and genuinely passionate about football and youth development. You will ideally have: Previous experience managing a football academy, sports club or similar organisation. Strong organisational and project management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence dealing with parents, players and coaches. Excellent administration and computer skills. Experience with social media, website management and digital marketing. A commercial mindset with the ability to grow participation and revenue. The ability to work independently while leading a team. Availability to work evenings and weekends around academy activities. Desirable Experience within elite youth football. Existing football network within Singapore. Experience organising leagues, tournaments or football events. Knowledge of Football Association of Singapore (FAS) competitions and regulations.
