Ecommerce Manager Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie Location: Singapore (Hybrid; includes time at our Dempsey factory-café) Reports to: Founder / Managing Director Type: Full-time About Us Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie is a Singapore-born, design-led chocolate brand on a mission to revitalise the Asian chocolate industry. We are a bean-to-bar chocolatier, crafting chocolate exclusively from cacao sourced across Asia. From our Dempsey factory-café to Takashimaya and Changi, we transform premium chocolate into joyful, giftable experiences. As we grow, we are building a strong ecommerce engine to bring this experience islandwide—and eventually across the region. The Role We are hiring our first dedicated Ecommerce Manager to own and grow our online business end-to-end. This includes our Shopify D2C store, corporate gifting, marketplaces, and the digital marketing that powers them. This is a hands-on, build-from-the-ground-up role suited for someone who is both commercially driven and creatively inclined—comfortable working with data, CRM flows, and brand storytelling. Key Responsibilities 1. Commercial Ownership Own the online P&L, including revenue, margin, and key KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, repeat rate, LTV:CAC, MER). 2. Shopify D2C Store Manage site merchandising and conversion optimisation Enhance gifting experience (gift messaging, scheduled delivery, occasion hubs) Oversee payments, checkout, and site roadmap 3. Retention & CRM Build and manage email, SMS, and WhatsApp programmes (Klaviyo) Develop loyalty, referral, and subscription strategies 4. Gifting Strategy Plan and execute Singapore’s key gifting moments (CNY, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mid-Autumn, Deepavali, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, National Day) Launch limited-edition collections and campaigns 5. Corporate & Bulk Gifting Develop and scale high-value corporate gifting offerings 6. Marketplaces & Third-Party Channels Launch and manage curated gifting platforms (e.g. Giftano) Oversee quick commerce platforms (Grab, foodpanda, Deliveroo) Explore and manage Shopee, Lazada, and iShopChangi where relevant 7. Performance Marketing Manage media agencies and freelancers across Meta, Google, and TikTok Own campaign targets, creative briefs, and performance reporting 8. Analytics & Reporting Own GA4 and Shopify analytics Conduct monthly plan-versus-actual performance reviews 9. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with operations on fulfilment and cold-chain delivery standards Partner with retail teams to convert in-store traffic into online customers 10. Regional Expansion Support groundwork for cross-border ecommerce (Shopify Markets, multi-currency setup) Requirements 4–7 years of experience in ecommerce or digital roles Minimum 2 years owning and growing a Shopify D2C business end-to-end Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and Klaviyo (or equivalent CRM tools) Working knowledge of Meta and Google Ads Proven track record with measurable results (e.g. revenue growth, repeat rate, CRM contribution) Experience in premium, lifestyle, F&B, or gifting brands Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills Keen eye for brand, design, and detail Nice to Have Experience with marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Giftano) Background in corporate/B2B gifting, subscriptions, or loyalty programmes Experience with perishable goods, cold-chain logistics, or seasonal peaks (e.g. CNY) Familiarity with affluent Asian consumer behaviour and platforms like Xiaohongshu (RED) Exposure to regional or cross-border ecommerce (Shopify Markets) What Success Looks Like Within 90 days: Payments and checkout optimised Klaviyo flows fully implemented Core KPIs and product melt-rate tracked Corporate gifting pre-sales launched for peak seasons Within 12 months: Significant improvement in D2C profitability Strong retention and loyalty engine established At least one new channel successfully launched Foundations laid for regional expansion What We Offer Competitive salary with performance bonus Opportunity to build and own a key business channel from scratch Work with a well-loved, design-led brand And, of course, a lot of very good chocolate How to Apply Please send your CV to effah@mrbucket.com.sg along with a short write-up on an ecommerce store you have grown—what you did and the results you achieved.
