Job Summary Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment in classrooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces at the centre. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors and surfaces in classrooms, play areas, and common spaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas to meet health and safety standards Clean and maintain the centre’s furniture, equipment, and teaching materials to ensure good condition and usability Inspect and clean the outdoor play area to keep it safe, clean, and free of hazards Assist with food preparation during the cook’s absence to support smooth kitchen operations Collect and dispose of garbage properly to maintain a clean environment Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from the Principal to complete assigned duties effectively Required competencies and certifications Demonstrate experience cleaning and maintaining commercial or educational facilities to uphold hygiene standards Apply strong organizational skills to manage cleaning tasks efficiently and ensure attention to detail Maintain commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment Work independently and collaboratively within a team to complete daily duties reliably Exhibit a warm and friendly disposition to engage positively within an educational environment
