Network Infrastructure Engineer

This role involves network implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable connectivity services. Responsibilities Manage and support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, load balancer, and DNS environments. Implement network changes and configurations in accordance with change management processes. Troubleshoot network issues and optimise performance. Design and support network solutions based on business requirements. Conduct proof-of-concepts and support infrastructure upgrades/refresh initiatives. Maintain network documentation and operational procedures. Participate in a rotational 24/7 standby support roster. Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing within the team Requirements Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 4 years of Network Engineering experience in a medium to large enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, and network security technologies. Hands-on experience with technologies such as VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, NAT, ACL, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing. Familiarity with enterprise network and security platforms from leading vendors. Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills. Preferred CCNP or equivalent networking certification. Firewall certifications are advantageous (eg: CheckPoint or Palo Alto).
