Senior Strategy Consultant

The senior strategy consultant will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of growth opportunities for the Small Excavator (11- to 19-ton) product line in the growth regions. This role will interface directly across the Excavation Division organization and enterprise partners to help execute the Excavation growth strategy. The role will apply a growth mindset to the excavation business, supporting the achievement of our 2030 goals and beyond. Caterpillar's Excavation Division (part of the Construction Industries Segment) is responsible for the design and manufacture of tracked and wheeled excavators ranging from 11 to 95 metric tons, along with Cat® Work Tools. What You Will Do Product & Portfolio Strategy Collaborate with Customer Solutions (CS), NPI, and Engineering teams to align the excavator portfolio with industry needs and opportunities. Consolidate VOC, competitive intelligence, and market trend data to develop the regional product strategy roadmap. EXD Core Region Support Provide tactical support for all Customer Solutions and dealer needs related to small excavators in the region, including availability, quality, aftermarket support, and technology requirements. Growth Mindset Develop and execute strategic plans that align with broader product line and regional growth objectives. Drive strategic product initiatives to address growth opportunities for specific products or market segments within the region. Support specific regional growth initiatives driven by Customer Solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and participate in cross-functional initiatives, working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Support teams to ensure alignment of business development activities across the organization.
