Job Description and Responsibility: • Lead the site and deliverexcellence in safety, health, environment protection, quality, reliability andemployee engagement at appropriate operating cost and compliance with the BCP’srequirements (what is this?) • Foster an open and inclusiveculture. Use data to drive decisions, be curious; drive continuous andsustainable real world improvement. Inspire others • Ensure Manufacturing OperatingModel guiding principles and SQRE plan deployed consistently and efficientlyand effectively every day at the site. • Provide daily leadership androle model for site. This includes an extensive and personal field presence. Becomfortable in the field. • Manage interface betweeninternal site resources and other stake-holders. • Gatekeep and prioritize • Ensure efficient andappropriate communication of site issues and performance with wider Celaneseresources. Excalate early and ask for help when needed. • Oversee and direct site budgets(Capex, AOP, Productivity) • Fight the site’s corner asneeded but can balance with other Celanese priorities • Develops site team including afocus on creating a diverse bench of future leaders. • Contribute to CE projects asneeded • Maintains a strong CE internaland external network. • Manage Celanese stakeholdersand balance priorities • Interact with externalstakeholders in local communities • Own own development plan Required Knowledges/Skills/Abilities: • Awareness ofsafety/quality/environment protection; • Understand Celanese policy,culture and procedure. • Understanding of key unitprocess safety risks and controls • Leadership and interpersonalskills • Resource allocation andprioritization, KPIs and action tracking legal issues and controls. • Broad understanding ofengineering issues and problem solving skills.
