M&E Coordinator

Job Summary Plan, supervise, and monitor mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and design standards. Coordinate with clients and contractors to resolve technical issues and deliver timely project progress reports. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of assigned M&E tasks Supervise and coordinate M&E work on site to maintain quality and safety standards Prepare detailed progress reports for clients and project managers, highlighting delays, defects, and rectification measures Inspect and assess temporary works by contractors to ensure compliance with civil & structural (C&S), M&E, and building regulations Verify that all mechanical and electrical works conform to design specifications, codes of practice, and quality standards Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship and performance meet required standards Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, qualified persons, and other contractors to resolve technical and interfacing issues Verify reports and claims submitted by subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and specialist contractors for accuracy and compliance Required competencies and certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from a recognized institution Ability to read and interpret CAD, Revit, and Navisworks 3D models to support project execution Preferred competencies and qualifications 1 to 3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering industry, preferably on large-scale projects Willingness to be based at the project site office
