Project Engineer (Piling)

Job Description Tendering & Estimation: Review tender drawings, calculate material quantities, source competitive vendor quotes, and prepare technical bid proposals for piling works. Bored Piling Supervision: Oversee day-to-day bored piling operations, including borehole drilling monitoring, slurry testing, cage installation, and tremie concreting logs. Monitor tremie concreting: Manage the execution of concrete pouring via tremie pipes and maintain precise piling logs. Coordinate site execution: Carry out all ongoing project phases according to the schedule and approved drawings. QA/QC & Compliance: Formulate Project Quality Plans, enforce local construction codes, and manage Request for Inspection (RFI) submissions to consultants. Lifting Operations Management: Take full responsibility for planning, supervising, and reviewing heavy lifting safety plans for site cranes and piling rigs. Site Coordination & Safety: Conduct routine site checks to ensure absolute safety compliance while coordinating with project teams to resolve technical anomalies. Other ad hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. At least 2 to 5 years of working experience in the related field is required. Ability to work with tight deadlines. Work closely with project team to resolve technical issues. Good attitude and communication skills. Willing to multi-task. Working Location: Tampines (will relocate to Woodlands site upon project award).
