Create value. Responsibilities Lead finance and accounting operations to deliver accurate financial reporting and ensure effective cash flow management and regulatory compliance. Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic business planning and decision-making. Collaborate with management to enhance business performance through financial insights, cost optimization, and commercial advice. Strengthen internal controls, governance, and finance processes while leading digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities to ensure timely statutory compliance. Lead, develop, and coach the finance team to build capabilities and support regional finance projects and strategic initiatives. Required competencies and certifications Degree in Accountancy or Finance. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Tax regulations. At least 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 5 years in managerial or supervisory roles. Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in trading, distribution, manufacturing, or the chemical industry. Strong commercial acumen demonstrated by analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills applied to finance functions. Proven ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively across organizational levels. Proactive leadership style with a hands-on approach to partnering with business units and driving continuous improvement.
