Job Summary Lead the Steel & Metal Works division by driving business development, managing project delivery, ensuring profitability, and fostering a high-performance team culture focused on safety and quality. Responsibilities Lead the team to source projects, prepare quotes, and submit tenders to secure new business opportunities Oversee pricing strategies, optimize costs, and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, developers, and consultants to support business growth Assign jobs to team leaders and coordinate project activities across design, fabrication, and installation phases Manage end-to-end project execution to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain operational efficiency and safety Monitor project margins, control costs, and manage division profitability through effective financial oversight Track budgets, cash flow, and performance metrics to identify and implement improvements in operational efficiency Lead and mentor engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to develop skills and promote accountability Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing safety, quality, and team collaboration Ensure full compliance with Singapore regulations, including BCA and WSH standards, through risk assessments and audits Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and operational processes Required competencies and certifications Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Minimum 7 years of experience in the structural steel or metal works industry Proven skills in tendering, costing, and project e…
