Job Description: Oversee the development and enforcement of project policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental requirements Approve and review project-specific management system documentation Lead, set, and approve objectives and targets for key project processes that align with overall strategic goals and company standards Ensure that the project meets or exceeds all quality specifications and standards Take charge of assignment of responsibilities to competent team members Approve and review the recruitment of staff, ensuring that they possess the necessary competence to adhere to the health, safety, and environmental requirements of the project Conduct reviews of project progress, addressing risks and provide strategic solutions to ensure project deadlines are met Conduct regular reviews of financial performance , identifying and mitigating any cost overruns while optimising project financial health Responsible for overseeing the completion of the project, ensuring they meet the given timeline, quality and safety standards, and project objectives Act as the primary point of approval for all project submissions to client, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, other stakeholders Approve and review the appointment of suppliers and subcontractors Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with project requirements Lead the project delivery strategy, ensuring that the project is completed within schedule, budget, and client expectations Setting of long-term project goals to optimise workflow and project success Oversee the integration between the various project departments to ensure smooth project delivery Monitor project progress against key milestones, providing oversight and taking corrective action when necessary to stay on track with timelines and budgets Lead stakeholder efforts, ensuring productive relationships with partners, clients, stakeholders, consultants, designers, vendors, subcontractors Provide a high-level oversight of subordinates, identifying their training needs Lead risk management, compliance, and auditing efforts, ensuring all legislative, pre-contract, and commercial obligations are met Provide executive-level reporting and updates to the General Manager and senior leadership team, highlighting key performance indicators, risk factors, and project milestones Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for operational efficiencies, and implementing best practices across all project phases Manage high-level risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that potential project risks are identified, assessed, and addressed proactively, minimising impact on project outcomes Attend internal and external meetings with employees, partners, clients, stakeholders, consultants, designers, vendors, subcontractors Evaluate, review, and appraise on the performance of the employees Job Requirement: Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry At least 10 years of experience in LTA MRT projects will be highly preferred Strong experience managing large-scale civil and infrastructure projects of similar complexity Strong leadership, stakeholder management, contract administration, and project delivery experience Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
