About this role
IT Executive As an IT Executive, you will report to our Manager, IT, responsible for providing IT support and systems trouble-shooting, network management and maintenance of network and e-communications systems. Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to end-users (eg connection to network, login issue, email inaccessibility). Setup, maintain and troubleshoot: various client and server OS such as Microsoft Windows 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux, etc. Firewall Networking equipment eg Network Switches, Routers. Wireless networking equipment eg AP’s and Wireless Controllers. Set-up new workstation (desktop/laptop) Familiar with general computer hardware replacement Provide training and support to end user for basic use of computers EDM broadcast, Backup of Servers, Anti-Virus and Windows Client and Server update Monitoring of the company Network Update CMS (Club Management System) patches and troubleshoot connection issues DRS (Jackpot System): Maintenance of the DRS computers, File and Progressive servers and network connection issue. Update Website eg errors, contacts, etc. Able to provide IT support after office hours (24 hrs) and weekends Cover IT Exec Admin duty if necessary, as the IT team is small Requirements: Keen and passionate about IT industry with strong desire to work and learn Excellent troubleshooting skills Flexible with working hours when required and work independently with minimum supervision Able to handle end-users in a professional and timely manner Strong working knowledge in Windows, Linux Server Environment and Networking Good verbal and written communication skills Minimum Nitec in IT or Computer Studies Those without IT experience will be considered for junior position Starting salary will commensurate with qualifications and relevant work experience.
