About this role

Job Summary Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the Front of House Team to deliver efficient, consistent service in fast-paced restaurants and cafes, supporting team members and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Manage daily restaurant operations, including cleanliness, organization, and staffing to ensure smooth service delivery Perform opening, mid, and closing shift duties to maintain operational standards Lead guest relations and execute guest recovery strategies to enhance customer satisfaction Set and model exceptional guest service standards for all front-of-house staff Monitor and evaluate staff performance, holding team members accountable to company guidelines Recommend hiring and termination decisions to management based on staff performance and operational needs Coach, develop, and discipline front-of-house employees through ongoing feedback and performance management Collaborate with Logistics and Procurement teams to manage supply deliveries, inventory control, and invoice record-keeping Contribute actively in management staff meetings to support operational improvements Ensure safety and security of customers and employees by adhering to loss prevention and risk management procedures Required competencies and certifications Diploma or degree in Hospitality or related field Preferred competencies and qualifications Proven experience opening and managing concept food spaces such as international cuisine restaurants, Chinese restaurants, or multi-stall food courts Demonstrated leadership skills to build relationships and manage staff at all levels Ability to perform effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments Strong communication, organizational, and people management skills with a customer service focus Food and Services industry experience preferred Advanced computer literacy with proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Slides) Presentation skills (all levels including senior management)
