Structural Steel Erector

Job Description We are looking for a Structural Steel Erector to join our construction and metalwork team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out structural steel installation, metalwork erection, and related site works at construction sites and workshop/factory premises. Responsibilities Carry out installation and erection of structural steel components, steel mesh, fencing, gates, railings and related metalwork. Assist in fabrication, assembly, alignment and fixing works at workshop and project sites. Read and follow basic work instructions, drawings, measurements and supervisor directions. Perform material handling, loading, unloading and preparation of steel materials. Use basic hand tools, power tools and equipment safely for installation works. Conduct basic checking of completed works to ensure proper alignment and workmanship. Follow site safety rules, risk assessments and company safety procedures at all times. Assist with general construction and factory support duties when required. Requirements Relevant experience in structural steel, metalwork, fencing, construction or fabrication works preferred. Able to work at construction sites and workshop/factory environment. Able to perform physical work, lifting and outdoor site duties. Able to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team. Basic knowledge of steel erection, installation, welding, cutting or fabrication will be an advantage. Willing to work overtime when required.
