About the Role D L Resources is hiring a (Back-End / Back-Office) Bank Operations Officer to support the Card Operations function of a client Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing card-related customer requests accurately and within agreed service-level timelines. This position is suitable for candidates with experience or interest in banking operations, card operations, financial services administration, transaction processing, customer fulfilment, or back-office operations . Key Responsibilities Process a wide range of customer requests relating to card services, card payments, account maintenance, and customer fulfilment, including card issuance, activation, replacement, cancellation, payment processing, billing-related requests, GIRO and recurring payment instructions, card account updates, transaction enquiries, fee-related requests, and other card servicing activities. Review supporting documents and system information to ensure that requests are complete, accurate, and properly authorised. Complete operational transactions within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and turnaround time. Perform accurate data entry, verification, reconciliation, and documentation of processed requests. Manage and resolve customer, internal stakeholder, and business-unit queries, feedback, and complaints promptly. Escalate exceptions, discrepancies, incomplete documentation, and operational risks to the relevant teams. Follow established banking procedures, regulatory requirements, operational controls, and data confidentiality standards. Maintain accurate records and support audit, compliance, and operational reporting requirements. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, process efficiency, risk controls, and service quality. Support workflow automation, process digitisation, and operational improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal departments and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational issues. Perform administrative duties and other ad-hoc operational tasks assigned by management. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related discipline. Preferably one to two years of experience in: Banking operations, Card operations Back-office processing Financial services operations, Transaction processing, Customer fulfilment Loan, payment, account, or application processing Candidates with relevant internship experience or strong administrative processing experience may also be considered. Able to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment. Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and service quality. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Able to identify discrepancies, investigate operational issues, and recommend practical solutions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Comfortable working with banking systems, internal processing platforms, and digital workflows. Self-motivated, resourceful, adaptable, and able to work independently. A collaborative team player with a positive attitude towards change and process improvement. Why Join This Assignment?
