Quantity Surveyor

Job Description: Preparation of tender documents, and requests for quotations from different suppliers. Analyze and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure all prices quoted are up-to-date and competitive. Ensure all the variation orders are dealt with as efficiently as possible and provide early and accurate cost advice. Preparation of tender documents, and requests for quotation from different suppliers. Monitored and kept track of project progress as well as for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work. Evaluation and certification of sub-contractors progress payment, Variation's Orders (VO), valuing completed work, and cost-benefit analysis. Prepare and follow up on monthly progress claims on time. Liaise with project team and project administration. Attending site-show round. Attend tender interview and prepare tender questionnaire reply. Job Requirement: Education: Degree/ Diploma (Poly) in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant experience in mechanical / electrical construction industry would be preferable. Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within related industry. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
