Industry: Crypto Derivatives Trading Infrastructure About our client Our client is a technology company building institutional-grade infrastructure for crypto options and derivatives trading — not an exchange, but the technology layer behind leading exchanges and top-tier institutional trading desks, providing trading systems, risk engines, and market-making tools. Responsibilities Design and develop the company's core platform services in Rust, supporting institutional-grade trading scenarios Continuously deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective data services Provide architectural and performance optimization solutions, driving fast iteration of backend systems Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and observability Requirements Proficient in Rust, with production-grade backend or systems-level application experience Solid CS fundamentals: operating systems, networking, concurrency, algorithms and data structures Experience designing and developing distributed systems or microservice architectures Familiar with async runtimes (Tokio, async-std) and the Rust ecosystem (Actix, Axum, Serde, Cargo) Hands-on experience with caching (Redis), messaging (Kafka), and data streaming (Flink or equivalents) Crypto industry experience preferred Team Culture Flat structure, reporting directly to the CTO, with no rigid hierarchy, with strong emphasis on ownership and fast delivery.
