About this role

Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Review of all geotechnical design drawings to ensure comply with relevant statutory standard, regulations and codes of practices. 2. Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage. 3. Co-ordinate with authorities, client and consultants 4. Evaluate subcontractor’s risk assessment, safe work procedures and method statements 5. Plan and execute geotechnical and instrumentation installation and monitoring works 6. Prepare instrumentation reports 7. Site evaluation of soil, rock, fault distribution and geological studies on and below the site to determine their engineering properties 8. Liaise and coordinate with instrumentation contractor for installation and monitoring issues 9. Update instrumentation drawings 10. Responsible for attendance to daily site coordination meeting and provide detail coordination with subcontractors. Requirements and relevant experience are as below: 1. Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering or close discipline; 2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering especially for LTA Project 3. Be well-aware of Geotechnical Design, Instrumentation & Monitoring process 4. Be well-aware of Underground Structure/Construction Sequences and related civil design works. 5. Be well-aware of Eurocode, LTA CDC, and relevant design specification/standards * Candidates who has experience as Geotechnical engineer in D&B contractor side would be an advantage. * Interested applicants are required to submit their detailed CV and state their current and expected salary.
