Role Overview Join the Dapur Penyet team as a Part-Time Steward! You will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment by ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and work areas are cleaned and sanitised to company standards. Your support helps the kitchen team operate efficiently and ensures a smooth dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities Wash, clean, and sanitise kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and back-of-house workstations. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company hygiene and safety procedures. Replenish cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when stocks are running low. Assist with basic cleaning of food preparation areas and kitchen equipment as required. Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards. Keep storage and washing areas clean, organised, and free from hazards. Support the kitchen team with general housekeeping and ad hoc operational duties as assigned. Adhere to all workplace safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times. Requirements: No prior experience is required; training will be provided. Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform manual cleaning duties. Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Willing to work flexible part-time shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required. Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
