Tvss System Engineer - Fzm

1. Scope of Work Design and integrate end-to-end LAN-based CCTV / TVSS solutions for mobile railway projects. Design and integrate secure wireless network solutions for train-ground communications. Execute system design, system engineering, implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of CCTV and wireless communication systems throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare system documentation including design documents, implementation records, test procedures, test reports, operation and maintenance manuals, and handover documentation. Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate, select, configure, and engineer suitable products and equipment for the required system solution. Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, system providers, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful end-to-end system integration. Perform site testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and support activities until final customer acceptance. Coordinate on production and equipment delivery Willing to travel overseas for job assignment 2. Resource Expectations Strong system engineering mindset with ability to understand end-to-end architecture, interfaces, dependencies, and operational requirements. Proactive ownership of assigned tasks , with ability to anticipate design, integration, testing, and site risks early. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability for CCTV, network, wireless, and system integration issues. Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, internal engineering teams, site teams, and customers. Well-organized and self-directed , with ability to drive open issues to closure with minimum supervision. Strong documentation discipline to support design reviews, site implementation, testing, commissioning, and final handover. Determination and stamina to complete project tasks through design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance stages. 3. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, ICT Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline. Experience or knowledge in CCTV, IP-based surveillance systems, wireless communication systems, and railway communication systems is preferred. Knowledge of RF propagation, wireless systems, and train-ground communication concepts. Understanding of networking fundamentals is required ; exposure to railway or mission-critical systems will be advantageous. Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude, relevant academic background, and keen interest in CCTV, wireless, and rail communication systems may be considered. 4. Technical Skills Knowledge of CCTV / TVSS architecture, IP cameras, video recording systems, LAN-based surveillance networks, and system integration. Understanding of RF propagation, wireless communication principles, wireless coverage, interference, signal strength, and antenna-related considerations. Knowledge of secure wireless networking for train-ground communications. Understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, IP addressing, and network troubleshooting. Knowledge of wireless and cellular technologies and standards such as Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, or equivalent train-ground communication technologies. Ability to perform system configuration, integration testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Ability to prepare engineering documents, test procedures, test reports, and O&M documentation. CCNA / CCNP certification will be an added advantage. Good written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Details of relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, wireless networking, CCTV, or related technical certifications.
