Chief Mechanic

Job Scopes: Lead and supervise a team of mechanics in the maintenance and repair of construction machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults on construction equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, servicing and repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety. Plan and assign daily repair and maintenance work to mechanics. Inspect completed repairs and ensure work meets company safety and quality standards. Coordinate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain maintenance records and monitor spare parts inventory. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to mechanics. Lead the maintenance and repair of drilling rigs, excavators, grout pumps, deep soil mixing (DSM) equipment and other construction machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems of heavy construction equipment. Schedule preventive maintenance to ensure machinery is in good working condition for project operations. Job Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy construction machinery. Experience leading and supervising a team of mechanics. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, diesel engine and electrical systems. Experience with drilling rigs, excavators, grout pumps and other heavy construction equipment preferred. Ability to diagnose complex mechanical faults independently.
