Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities: Create analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D /3D; Carry out detailed geotechnical engineering design and calculations for earth retaining structures and slope stability; Prepare geotechnical design calculation reports and drawings; Review soil investigation reports and preparing interpretative reports; Advise on various types of ground monitoring instruments, and review monitoring results; Attend design and site meetings, when required. Requirements: Graduated with Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering; Familiar with Plaxis 2D/3D software; Good communication and inter-personal skills, and project management skills; Familiar with Eurocode design procedures; Familiar with local building regulations regarding geotechnical work; Preferably 3 years’ experience in geotechnical design in a consultancy firm.
