Urgent: Deputy Design Manager, Geotechnical (Mnc/West)

Responsibilities: Support the Design Manager in overseeing the design team. Lead, mentor, and provide training to junior engineers. Understand, interpret, and manage client requirements effectively. Coordinate with external stakeholders to prepare technical proposals for projects. Ensure all designs adhere to regulations, engineering codes, standards, and best practices. Review and monitor design deliverables to ensure accuracy and timely completion. Investigate and resolve technical issues arising from incidents. Review project closure reports with internal stakeholders and recommend improvements to mitigate future risks. Develop “Design & Build” solutions, including ground improvement methods where applicable. Provide technical marketing support to present solutions to clients and consultants. Conduct regular site visits to train, guide, and gain buy-in from site personnel, while promoting quality and good practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, recognized by PEB. Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Plaxis 2D, and Plaxis 3D. Engage actively in engineering societies and contribute technical papers at conferences. Participate in global expert groups to share knowledge and expertise.
