Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Surgical Nurse role based at Dr Natasha Lim Eye Centre's MOH licensed Ambulatory Day Surgery Centre in Royal Square Novena, Singapore. The Surgical Nurse will support ophthalmic surgeons in operating rooms, including preparing surgical suites, instruments, and supplies, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, patient preparation, intra-operative assistance, and post-operative monitoring and education. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting safe, efficient surgical workflows. The Surgical Nurse will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to delivering patient-centered eye care. Qualifications Candidates who have Operating Room and Surgery skills, including instrument handling, aseptic technique, and familiarity with ophthalmic procedures are welcomed to apply. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply as operating theater training will be provided. Valid SNB nursing license is essential. Advanced Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing is an advantage. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and infection control standards.
