About the Opportunity Dynamic Clarity Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a Japan-headquartered corporate finance advisory firm that supports Japanese businesses seeking overseas funding through minority investments, growth capital, strategic partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions. The client maintains an active pipeline of cross-border transactions, with particular expertise in the Healthcare Technology and Energy Technology sectors, connecting Japanese companies with investors and strategic acquirers in Singapore and international markets. Role Description The Corporate Finance Consultant serves as the client's Singapore-based investor coverage representative, originating relationships with institutional investors, strategic corporate investors and private equity firms to support overseas fundraising and cross-border M&A transactions involving Japanese companies. The role combines investment origination, transaction execution and strategic advisory. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective investors and acquirers (corporates, private equity funds, family offices, and other financial sponsors) in Singapore and internationally for the client's Japan-based investment opportunities. Leverage and expand an existing professional network among business investors and funds to originate qualified conversations and secure meetings for the client's mandates. Assess investor–opportunity fit, prepare and deliver clear pitch materials, information memoranda, and presentations to senior stakeholders. Support deal structuring, negotiation, and closing, including coordinating financial and commercial due diligence. Develop and review integrated financial models, company valuations (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), cash flow forecasts and scenario analyses. Lead and support mergers & acquisitions engagements including target identification, valuation, transaction execution, negotiation support and completion activities. Analyze financial performance and market data; provide recommendations directly to the client's CEO. Ensure transactions align with relevant regulations and the client's corporate objectives, collaborating with the client's teams in Japan and external advisors. Qualifications and Experience 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development. Strong existing network of institutional investors, private equity firms, venture capital funds, family offices and strategic corporate investors in Singapore and the ASEAN region. Demonstrated experience originating investment opportunities or successfully introducing investors that resulted in completed transactions. Prior transaction or coverage experience in Healthcare Technology and/or Energy Technology sectors is highly advantageous. Strong financial modelling capability, including valuation models, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses. Due diligence experience covering financial, operational, and commercial assessments, ideally in cross-border or regional contexts. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are an advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple mandates, and meet tight deadlines. Experience with ASEAN and/or Japan cross-border transactions is beneficial.
