Nfs Lab Assistant

Job Description Maintain cleanliness and organization of food laboratories and preparation rooms through daily housekeeping. Prepare food labs, ingredients, and equipment for practical lessons and examinations. Process recipe ingredient orders and ensure timely procurement of supplies. Maintain records, filing, invoices, receipts, delivery orders, and other administrative documentation. Conduct inventory, stock, and asset checks to ensure adequate supplies and equipment. Manage equipment loans, learning resources, and laboratory materials. Coordinate with contractors for equipment servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Provide operational support for department activities and events involving the food laboratories. Ensure food laboratories comply with safety, hygiene, and operational standards. Assist teachers and staff in the smooth day-to-day operation of practical food laboratory sessions. Requirements Secondary school qualifications or equivalent. Able to converse and keep records. Able to use MS Office apps. Relevant certification on food hygiene, food preparation and food safety. At least three (3) years of similar experience inschool environment.
