SCADA Engineer (Ibms / Building Automation)

Basic $5500 - $7000 + Variable Bonus + Allowances Excellent Welfare and Benefits + Career progression Working location: West (Jurong East MRT – 5 mins walking distance) Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon – Fri) The SCADA Engineer will support the implementation, configuration and continuous improvement of SCADA and IBMS platforms across various projects. The role covers software configuration, system integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, technical documentation and quality assurance. You will also help maintain standard templates and software libraries to improve system consistency and engineering efficiency. Job Responsibilities: Configure, test, commission and troubleshoot SCADA and IBMS systems. Develop and maintain HMI graphics, alarm configurations, reporting templates and reusable software components. Support database setup, communication integration, historical data management and system performance optimization. Assist in maintaining SCADA and IBMS engineering standards, templates and graphic libraries. Perform software reviews, functional testing, compliance checks and quality assurance activities. Troubleshoot software, database, communication and system performance issues. Conduct root-cause analysis and provide technical support to project teams. Prepare testing procedures, user manuals, engineering guidelines and project handover documentation. Provide site support for system integration, testing and commissioning when required. Work with engineering, project and sales teams to evaluate technologies and develop suitable technical solutions. Support technical proposals and contribute ideas to improve project delivery. Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation or a related discipline. Preferably at least three years of experience in SCADA system configuration, integration and troubleshooting. Experience with Niagara Framework and/or ICONICS is advantageous. Knowledge of SCADA graphics, alarm configuration, reporting and system troubleshooting. Good understanding of BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA or other industrial communication protocols. Hands-on experience in database configuration, SQL queries, historical data logging and alarm management. Familiarity with software architecture, system integration, testing and commissioning.
