KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop and keep up to date a comprehensive understanding of Eastspring Investments’ policies and procedures relating to Procurement and Third-Party Management procedures, Procurement standard operating procedures, Outsourcing Management procedures and related third party policies and procedures, to ensure policy requirements are understood, adhered to and documented while performing vendor selection, contracting and due diligence activities. Lead category management of non-technology spend categories, including: 1. Establish strong relationships with internal business partners and build a strong understanding of business strategies and priorities 2. Partner with business stakeholders including contract owners and contract managers to execute category or vendor-specific strategies, especially for key vendor relationships 3. Develop category strategies, including key insights from robust market analyses / benchmarking processes 4. Execute vendor consolidation, preferred vendor and catalogue enablement strategies for the assigned categories 5. Perform category governance, including leading and/or participating in category forums to build and foster the development of a cohesive, high-performing procurement team, and 6. Lead and/or support efforts to substantively progress the implementation of the category strategy across the organisation Develop, implement and/or manage strategic sourcing projects to select and negotiate with vendors to ensure optimal supply chain performance, with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost. Activities include: 1. Develop strategies to ensure competitive bidding and best value for Eastspring Investments. 2. Identify and execute on opportunities to conduct eAuctions 3. Execute plan for sourcing negotiations, including maintaining a robust project pipeline (including expiring contracts upcoming renewals) 4. Drive cost out for categories under management Drives ESG agenda and embeds ESG discipline in the supply chain. Activities include: 1. Embed ESG assessment framework for onboarding suppliers and ongoing engagement 2. Create communication strategy to drive awareness of ESG program with suppliers 3. Identify opportunities for collaboration with suppliers on ESG Develop category frameworks and guidance for Local Business Units (LBUs) and provide advisory and execution support for material sourcing initiatives across Eastspring. Provide procurement support across Eastspring LBUs, including: 1. Advising on sourcing strategy, vendor selection, and contracting approaches 2. Supporting complex or high-value sourcing events and negotiation 3. Assisting LBUs in navigating procurement policies, processes and tools 4. Acting as a key point of contact between LBUs, Group Procurement, and relevant SME functions (e.g. Risk, Legal, Compliance, TPRM) Support ongoing procurement audit remediation initiatives across Eastspring, including: 1. Partnering with Group Procurement, TPRM and SMEs to close identified audit gaps 2. Supporting the implementation and operationalisation of revised procurement SOPs, controls and governance frameworks 3. Providing guidance to LBUs to ensure alignment with GTPSO policy and regulatory expectations Drive and support Coupa adoption and digital procurement initiatives across LBUs, including: 1. Supporting LBUs in training and resolving operational queries 2. Identifying opportunities to improve compliance and user experience EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Bachelors Degree, at a minimum Ideally, candidate will have at least 5 years relevant Procurement Experience Excellent Organizational, analytical, time management skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents Ability to work independently, with limited supervision High integrity and ethics Experience using Procure-to-Pay systems, ideally Coupa
