Associate - Finance Shared Services

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate (Finance Shared Services) to support finance operations within a dynamic shared services environment. This role is ideal for candidates with accounting knowledge who enjoy working with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Key Responsibilities Perform month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned entities. Process and review grant utilisation entries to ensure accurate recognition of grant income against expenses incurred. Prepare, review, and follow up on monthly accounting schedules. Perform intercompany confirmations and intracompany reconciliations, and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding items. Support internal and external audit activities by providing timely documentation and responding to audit queries. Assist in the consolidation of financial information for the preparation of periodic financial statements. Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and prepared in accordance with established policies and procedures. Support ad hoc finance projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned. Requirements GCE "A" Level, Diploma in Accountancy, or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance. At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role. Knowledge of accounting principles and month-end closing processes. Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP is an advantage. Experience with SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
