Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with technical competencies in engineering and construction,energy management, software engineering and cross platform integration. We are looking for an Accountant to manage the financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The individual will be expected to work within the Finance Department and closely with the Operations to provide accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows. The role will report to the Finance Manager. Day-to-day operations: Execute receivables and payables processes; manage accounts reconciliation and general ledger Perform daily bank reconciliation and manage banking transactions Calculate and process payroll in line with MOM/Thailand statutory requirements Reporting & consolidation: Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis against budget Consolidate accounts across entities; manage intercompany transaction reconciliation Prepare group consolidation reports in line with accounting standards Project & compliance: Support project costing and gross margin tracking for EPC contracts Manage month-end close process (GL balancing, intercompany reconciliation, documentation) Support audit and tax compliance queries; assist with tax reconciliation Liaise with banks on transaction queries and facility management Cross-functional: Partner with Operations on vendor payment schedules and cash forecasting Provide Finance Manager with monthly commentary on cash position and liquidity REQUIREMENTS Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent professional qualification Minimum 4 years' post-qualification accounting experience (preferably in systems integration, construction, or project-based business) Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central or Xero (primary) Strong grasp of accounting principles (SFRS/IFRS); ability to apply judgment in revenue recognition and accrual accounting Accurate, detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently to tight deadlines Competence in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) Working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM payroll obligations GOOD TO HAVE Experience with multi-entity or regional consolidation Familiarity with fixed asset management or project accounting Exposure to construction/EPC business models Thai language or experience with Thailand statutory accounting/tax Experience managing audit interac While skills and experience are important, we place equal importance on a candidate’s resourcefulness, adaptiveness, and the ability to prioritise and find solutions appropriate for a situation.
